I was tasked to go on a website called ‘Screenskills’ which shows all of the job positions in media. I chose animation because I have a very unique skill on animation and I am part of a gaming community that does modding specifically Valve games. I am also in the SFM community which stands for Source Film Maker which uses game assets which can be used for animation. I chose the Director position because I am good at coordinating a group and assign people to a position who can put their skills to use. I can brainstorm ideas and I am open for opinions, and ideas of others in my group. I can create a roadmap of what the direction of the project will be going too and work with the team as well, and make sure the product is finished with proper care. It is the director’s responsibility to make sure that the project is successful and all of the mistakes, and mishaps during development. They are also responsible for assigning people to their projects.
I was tasked to search a media job and an apprentice job in media too, I had to create a mock application where I have to follow the job requirements and prove that I can do the job that I want to be part of. I made screenshots of the job and the requirements and the applications as well.
